Ryzen 7 5800X3D, known for better gaming performance than Core i9-12900KS

Peruvian tech website XanxoGaming has released benchmarks for the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor. Through the benchmark, it is known that the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D scores higher in the Shadow of the Tomb Raider benchmark than the Core i9-12900KS and Core i9-12900K.

XanxoGaming conducted a benchmark with the developers of CapFrameX, a frame time analysis utility. We removed the variable that could be caused by the graphic card bottleneck by proceeding with the 720P (1280×720) low option.

The Core i9-12900KS and Core i9-12900K systems were tested with GeForce RTX 3090 Ti and DDR5-4800 C40 memory, and the Ryzen 7 5800X3D system was tested with GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and DDR4-3200 CL14.

Ryzen 7 5800X3D was confirmed with an average of 231 frames. On the other hand, the Core i9-12900KS is 200 frames and the Core i9-12900K is 190 frames. Looking at the results alone, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is 16% ahead of the Core i9-12900KS and 22% ahead of the Core i9-12900K.

The Ryzen 7 5800X3D will be released on April 20th.
