The creators asked not to regard Scorn as a high-budget project: this is a dream game, a team of four people began to work on it. Now the studio has grown, but the game only falls short of AA.
It will take 6-8 hours to complete Scorn, but this may vary depending on how long it takes to solve the puzzles. As for the system requirements, to run in 4K at 60 FPS, you will need the following components:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 или Intel Core i7-8700;
- RAM: 16 GB;
- Video card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 (8Гб);
- HDD: SSD, 50 GB free space;
- System: Windows 10/11 с DirectX 12.
The original concepts that amazed players in 2014 formed the basis of the game. But since then they have been redesigned, updated and improved. However, the photo mode is not attached to them: the developers rely on immersion, so the interface will be minimal.
For fans of the game and Kickstarter contributors, a 192-page digital artbook and a two-hour soundtrack are being prepared, which they also plan to release on vinyl.
Recall that the game is coming to the Xbox Series (and from the first day will appear in the Xbox Game Pass) and PC (in Steam and Epic Games Store).
