Sebaldusweg is celebrating its fifth season

It is now known and loved by many locals and guests alike: the Sebaldusweg, which winds its way over 86 kilometers through the six Ennstal communities of Großraming, Losenstein, Laussa, Maria Neustift, Weyer and Gaflenz.

This year, the Sebaldus Way is entering its fifth season – and it will be duly celebrated: from April 29th to May 5th, special offers await you along the pilgrimage route. All locals are particularly invited this week to get to know the Sebaldusweg and walk a bit. You can set off every day together with the pilgrim companion Elisabeth Humer. The Katzensteiner Mill in Weyer opens its doors every day between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and the Brandstätter Hammer in Losenstein will also be open at lunchtime on April 29th and May 3rd – entry is free.

How do you get back home after completing the stage? That’s no problem during the anniversary week either: the Sebaldus shuttle runs daily and everyone can take a ride! Please be sure to book your place – 15 euros per person – in advance: www.steyr-nationalpark.at

Festival mass at Heiligenstein

The crowning conclusion of the offerings surrounding the fifth birthday of the Sebaldus Way is the festival mass at Heiligenstein in Gaflenz on Sunday, May 5th, at 3:30 p.m., at which “D’Heiligenstoana” is responsible for the musical program. The Ennstal parish and the Heiligenstein team are looking forward to many visitors.
