“I have a different attitude to all this here, because I don’t want to use the word “emigration” at all. It is now, after all, the 21st century. People who move from Brussels to Amsterdam, they are not anathematized by Brussels people and do not say: “That’s it, I break with my Brussels and go to Amsterdam. I am ashamed to be a Brussels man.” This is nothing.”

Where their children have a future. When people leave your country, it’s a huge tragedy. This process cannot be disabled. It is impossible to forbid where people are better, happier and freer. We need to make sure that people do not leave, ”said Kirill Serebrennikov.
Please note that in 2017 Serebrennikov was charged with grand larceny. In March of this year, the Khamovnichesky Court of Moscow announced the cancellation of the suspended sentence against the director and removed his criminal record.
