An air raid alert sounded in the Dnepropetrovsk region at regarding 10:14 p.m. on February 12—people were called to take shelter. Air Force informed regarding several groups of enemy drones that were moving towards the region.

Already in the morning, the Ukrainian Armed Forces summed up that in total the invaders released 23 attack drones. In the Dnepropetrovsk region, they managed to destroy 10 drones, as well as 3 each in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. A total of 16 enemy UAVs were eliminated.

Against this background, DTEK reported regarding stopping the work of one of the Ukrainian energy facilities. Subsequently, the Air Force confirmed certain damage to facilities in the fuel and energy industry of the Dnepropetrovsk region.

As a result of the attack, the company’s equipment was seriously damaged. The station stopped producing electricity,

The mayor of Dnieper informed regarding the evacuation of one of the hospitals due to the inability to heat it: “We are evacuating one of the hospitals, draining the heating system and taking out a considerable number of palliative patients.”

In addition, schools have to be closed due to the same problem. Forecasters are predicting a cold snap that the already damaged energy system may simply not be able to cope with.
