Commotion in Pozo del Molle, a small town in the Río Segundo department, In cordoba. This Friday, Daniel Martinengo (50), a renowned geneticist in the region, was murdered.
The first information indicates that the professional was killed by an acquaintance on the sidewalk of the Punto Café & Resto bar, located on the corner of San Martín and Libertad.
Martinengo was having breakfast and at one point Alexis Barrios appeared and sat at the table and chatted with him for a few minutes. When Martinengo got up to leave, Barrios pointed his revolver at him and shot him three times, according to a witness’ account.
Martinengo collapsed and died on the sidewalk of the bar.
The aggressor would have surrendered to the police authorities.
There is commotion in the region, while the Judicial Police works in the area.
The case fell on the Villa María prosecutor’s officeled by René Bosio, who has already moved to the area.
