Meteors are remnants left behind from the passage of two comets, Marsden and Kracht, created following the break-up of another comet.
The shooting stars are already visible for the most seasoned. However, the best chance of seeing them will be on the night of July 28-29 shortly before dawn. The new moon could also allow the meteors to shine brightly, promising a nice show!
The Delta Aquarids are medium intensity rainfall. Up to 20 meteorites per hour could be seen under the best conditions. The ideal is to seek a place far from light pollution in order to increase the opportunities.
Shooting stars will radiate mostly from the constellation Aquarius, but can be seen all over the sky.
