Unfortunately, recently, videos have been circulated on social media of girls dancing while wearing military uniforms to the tunes of songs called Al-Radah in public places, specifically in front of the monument at the beginning of Al-Zawraa Park.
Even by someone in uniform outside the establishment.
In the army, we learned to respect the military uniform and the head cover, i.e. * (the beret *), which is called the military honor term, but some people currently do not wear the head cover.
Military institutions and the Directorate of Military Discipline always emphasize respect for the military uniform and may not take any action or behavior that offends the profession of the soldier and the uniform worn by the military at various ranks.
Military discipline is the feature of soldiery, which gives the female soldier strength, solidity and respect. It starts from the military salute to obeying orders without discussion, as well as respect for the superior and inferior, and it is not permissible to transgress by any behavior that is offensive to modesty, whether it was verbal or behavior.
Calling with the rank and name for the subordinates, and with the word sir for the above, meaning the higher ranks, so that the ranks are equal, it must be presented with the time period or the name.
Shaving the chin, arranging the hair of the head, and putting on military clothes, and it must be clean and beautiful for the military.
It is forbidden to wear accessories on military clothes.
Unfortunately, there were some individual behaviors of members of the military institution that offend the honor of the soldier, for example, wearing necklaces and bracelets sometimes and shaving inappropriately, influenced by some of the occupying forces.
Honesty, trustworthiness, courage, not revealing military secrets in front of others, and not harming your military establishment, the two commands, or anyone.
Mutual respect and even walking in the public way
Or sitting in the wheels of public transport or driving your own wheel, observing the prevailing laws and adhering to them.
All this and what I missed is that the military institution is strong, sober and respectable, and this is the characteristic of the Iraqi military institution that we knew and were part of and proud of.
Unfortunately, there are some behaviors that have taken place in the military establishment recently
It is the responsibility of the supreme commanders and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, as well as the state’s military and civil oversight institutions.
Some irresponsible personal actions, whether they were of officers or ranks, because of the vacuum that left between 2003, the dissolution of the army with all its types, the formation of a new army at the beginning at random and in the shadow of the occupation, the entry of emergency persons into the institution, the absence of disciplinary and disciplinary courses, as well as monitoring by the concerned departments that were also dissolved.
It is unfortunate that some people abuse the military establishment in the visual or electronic media, and abuse of it should not pass without legal accountability.
And the audacity that prompted these girls, who do not have morals and commitment, to dare to dance and perform shameful movements in front of passers-by and broadcast videos.
As well as the behavior of some, unfortunately, of affiliates or officers, entering inappropriate places in military uniforms.
The military institution must be respected by everyone and by its members.
Soldiers are respect, honor, trustworthiness, honesty, and therefore courage.
Those concerned must be severely held accountable for those who offend the soldier, whether civilian or military, the strength of the military institution, the strength and prestige of the state…
