Drug Investigation Unit South Jakarta Metro Police (Jaksel) caught the artist Bobby Joseph related to possession of synthetic tobacco. Recently, Bobby has been named a suspect.
“Already a suspect,” said South Jakarta Metro Police Head of Narcotics Research Unit, Commissioner Achmad Ardhy when contacted, Monday (24/7/2023).
Ardhy said Bobby Joseph was a suspect in possession synthetic tobacco and abuse of narcotics class I. He was charged with Article 112 subsidiary 127 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
Ardhy added that Bobby was immediately arrested over the existing case.
“Detained,” added Ardhy.
Had to Dodge and Hide Sinte
Ardhy said that Bobby had avoided and hidden synthetic tobacco weighing 0.46 grams when he was taken away by the police at his residence in Cinere, Depok, on Friday (21/7) evening.
“It was hidden, what is certain is the name of this person, he must have avoided it. But using the police method, we managed to get the evidence,” said Kompol Achmad Ardhy.
Ardhy said Bobby’s arrest started with a report from the public. The police moved to his residence and secured Bobby along with the evidence.
“After we checked, the person concerned actually had evidence of synthetic tobacco,” he said.
