Due to a pilot strike, Lufthansa subsidiary Brussels Airlines had to cancel numerous flights on Saturday. According to Vienna Airport, connections to Austria were also affected. Flights to and from Vienna, Hamburg, Berlin and Munich, among others, were canceled. According to the BBTK union, the reason for the one-day pilot strike is that Brussels Airlines does not want to adjust non-tariff allowances to inflation as required.
