Reducing salt consumption is the most recommended by doctors, as it is associated with many serious health problems.

In it, a recent study revealed that reducing salt intake by just 1 gram per day would be enough to prevent 9 million cases of stroke and heart attacks between now and 2030.

Taking into account that there is a possibility that 4 million of them lead to death. Which means that such a simple procedure can save many lives.

The researchers also noted that the daily intake of salt from various sources should not exceed 5 grams. And that if the target reduction of the quantities consumed per day is achieved.

It would prevent up to half of all deaths related to cardiovascular disease, due to the estimated reduction in systolic blood pressure.

But the reduction in consumption must be constant over several years to achieve this end.
