The 11th annual Taste of the Rams was held at Gallagher Garden at SoFi Stadium, supporting the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank’s ongoing mission to combat food insecurity across the county.
This year’s gathering adds to an impressive 11-year milestone for the signature partnership. Since its inception, the fundraising event has generated approximately $1.7 million, yielding the equivalent of 6.8 million meals for residents facing food insecurity across Los Angeles County.
Food insecurity currently impacts roughly one in four households throughout Los Angeles County. To help address that stark reality, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank relies on a vast network of more than 600 partner agencies alongside direct distribution programs to supply assistance to more than 1.1 million people each month.
Bank of America, Crum & Forster, and Don Lee Farms stepped up as the presenting sponsors for this year’s gathering. Proceeds will help the Food Bank and its network of more than 600 partner agencies continue providing nutritious food to families and individuals experiencing food insecurity across the county.
Celebrated Chefs and Rams Leadership Drive the Evening
Honorary chairs for the gala included three standout Los Angeles Rams players: defensive end Kobie Turner, running back Kyren Williams, and offensive lineman Steve Avila. These athletes brought their competitive drive off the turf and into the dining space, helping rally donors and fans around the food bank’s central goal.

Molly Higgins, Rams executive vice president of community impact and engagement, emphasized the significance of the partnership. “At the heart of our organization is a commitment to serving our community and our 11-year partnership with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is one of the most meaningful ways we do that,” Higgins said.
“With food insecurity impacting 1 in 4 Angelenos, we are proud to be able to use Taste of the Rams to rally so many fans, donors and community partners together at SoFi Stadium to help make a real difference for families struggling to put food on their tables,” she added.
Guests at Gallagher Garden sampled dishes crafted by prominent local culinary talents. The chef lineup featured Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken of Border Grill, Nyesha Arrington and Michael Reed working alongside the LAUSD culinary program, Ray Garcia of Broken Spanish, Steve Samson, and Jackson Kalb representing Ospi, Jemma, Jame, and Jaime Taqueria.
Sustaining the Effort Through the Holiday Season
Michael Flood, president and CEO of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, noted the tangible power of these ongoing collaborative efforts. “Taste of the Rams is a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when our community comes together for a shared purpose,” Flood said.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Los Angeles Rams, our honorary chairs, participating chefs, sponsors, and everyone who helped make this event possible,” Flood stated.
The collaboration extends well beyond a single annual gala. The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and the Rams maintain an active schedule of community food distributions.
Two upcoming distribution events are already locked in at SoFi Stadium to aid families during the holidays. The first distribution is scheduled for November 18, followed by a second event on December 22.
