Expectations in the children’s fashion industry are growing as a complete endemic of taking off masks at school is expected next year. In particular, in 2023, the ‘year of the black rabbit’, backpacks aimed at children starting a new school year are being released one after another. Ahead of the year-end and New Year holidays, when demand for school bags is at its peak, children’s fashion brands have begun targeting parents with lighter and more colorful designs this year.

As the Corona 19 endemic approaches, parents’ interest in their children’s back-to-school fashion is growing. National Geographic’s back-to-school kids’ backpack sales increased by 481% at the beginning of this year (November 2021-February 2022) when face-to-face classes resumed compared to last year (November 2020-February 2021), when classes were held remotely due to the spread of Corona 19. . An official from National Geographic said, “next year, restrictions on activities not only outdoors but also indoors will disappear, and the kids goods market is expected to benefit as well.”

In fact, the ‘NBA Kids’ backpack collection has already recorded a sales increase of 140% compared to the same period last year as of early December this year.

An official from Beanpole Kids explained, “As consumer attitudes towards differentiated designs have been formed since last season, backpacks with trendy and lovely designs are attracting attention.” Beanpole Kids’ 2023 school bag is available in various colors such as light pink/purple/green/black/navy/blue, and the price ranges from 89,000 won to 149,000 won.
