Al-Marsad newspaper: A female citizen revealed the physical and health damage she suffered due to the installation of a gastric balloon.
The citizen said in a video clip: “I asked the doctor to install a gastric balloon as I weigh 70 kilograms, and the cost of each one is 17 thousand riyals, including its extraction.”
She added: “The balloon stayed in my stomach for 9 months. Imagine the amount of health and psychological damage. I got stomach bacteria, ulcers, and an enlarged abdomen, because of the balloon.”
She continued: “Anyone who tells you to use a balloon, stay away immediately. Do a gastric sleeve or diet, but do not risk yourself or your money. Installing a gastric balloon equals losing a lifetime.”
The citizen concluded her statements: “My weight now, due to the stomach bacteria, is 55 kilos, following I was 70 in full health, life and everything. Now I have health and psychological damage.”
