The dollar rises to a new historical level against the pound in Egypt

The price of the US dollar against the Egyptian pound rose again in trading today, Monday, after rising to a historical level to break the barrier of 18 pounds.

The price of the dollar for purchase amounted to 18.10 pounds for purchase, 18.20 pounds for sale, after it was 15.64 pounds for purchase, and 15.74 pounds for sale.

The price of the dollar rose against the pound again today, Monday, in a number of banks, compared to the close of trading yesterday, reaching the level of 17.5 pounds for sale.

Today, the Central Bank of Egypt announced that the interest rate was raised by 1% once, after a decision by the US Federal Reserve last week to increase the interest rate, which was followed by a number of central banks in a number of countries.
