The Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Julián Domínguez, stated this Saturday that seeks to “decouple” the domestic price from international prices with two objectives, “trying to take care of consumers” and that this measure “does not harm producers”, and stressed that with these initiatives “we are contributing to the common good”, during a press conference at the headquarters of the agricultural portfolio .
President Alberto Fernández “has decided to create the Temporary Stabilizing Fund for Argentine wheat” in view of “the proposal that we have presented to him,” he stated.
The official explained that the rise in the international price of this cereal due to the war between Russia and Ukraine “moved on the price of bread.”
