The train from De Panne was to end its journey in Landen. The transport company assures “to seek a solution for the problem and the passengers as soon as possible”.
The incident caused an interruption of rail traffic between Leuven, Landen and Hasselt. SNCB has deployed replacement buses.
Firefighters also said a small fire between the train carriages had to be extinguished.
