The lifeless body of a person was discovered on the construction site of the Union Hospital Center in Tournai. The victim, who was gagged, was found near the CPAS buildings in Tournai. It is not known at this time whether it is the body of a man or a woman.
The prosecution has been notified of the facts. “A security perimeter, covering the three sides of the site, has been established by the police of the Tournaisis area. The investigation was entrusted to the PJF (federal judicial police) of Tournai-Mons”, specified, shortly before 09:00, Frédéric Bariseau, first deputy of the king’s prosecutor of Tournai.
The file would be placed under investigation. The investigating judge and the prosecution are expected around 10:00 a.m. on the scene.
