Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority at Al-Haditha port thwarted an attempt to smuggle 29,000 Captagon pills, which were found hidden in a private vehicle brought to the Kingdom through the port.
The authority stated that during the inspection and inspection process of one of the coming vehicles of the “special” type, 29,000 Captagon pills were found, which were technically hidden in plastic gloves and placed inside glass containers containing cheese, and then placed in the luggage carried by the smuggler in the vehicle.
The authority added that after completing the process of seizing contraband, coordination was taken with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control to ensure the arrest of those receiving contraband inside the Kingdom, and by the grace of God, he was arrested and he is one person.
