The Cameroon national football team defeated the Brazilian team with a score of 1: 0 in the third round match of the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar.
The only goal of the match was scored by Vincent Abubakar in the 90+3rd minute. During the celebration, the player took off his shirt and received a yellow card for this, which was his second in the game. As a result, the Cameroonian was removed.

Cameroon became the first African team in history to beat Brazil in the World Cup, before which the Africans had seven defeats in seven matches.
The Brazilian national team finished the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar in first place, the team managed to score six points. Cameroon took third place (four points), which does not qualify for the playoffs of the tournament.
In the first round, the Brazilians beat Serbia with a final score of 2:0, and in the second they were stronger than the Swiss team – the meeting ended with a score of 1:0.
Brazil have won their group in 11 consecutive World Cups since 1982. In total, the Brazilians won the group at the World Cup 16 times (counting only the first group stage) – four times more than any other team (Germany – 12).
In the 1/8 finals of the World Cup, Brazil will meet with the South Korean team, which took second place in Group H. The match will take place on December 5.
