Avoid “splitting” of bidding packages

Investment project to build Tuyen Quang-Phu Tho expressway connecting with Noi Bai-Lao Cai expressway is more than 40 km long, of which the section through Phu Tho province is more than 11 km long, the section through Tuyen Quang province is more than 28 km long. .
As originally planned, the project will be implemented in two phases, in phase 1, the road consists of two lanes with a design speed of 80 km/h, completed in the third quarter of 2023. The second phase will be deployed after 2025, increasing to four lanes.
By September 2022, the Prime Minister had visited the field and worked with local leaders on this project, directed research and proposed to adjust the project investment policy towards immediate investment to complete the project. scale of four lanes, maximum speed of 100 km/h, do not wait until after 2025, meeting development requirements.

According to local reports, so far, Tuyen Quang province has handed over 11.3/11.3 km, reaching 100%; building 3/3 resettlement areas; relocation of technical infrastructure (electricity, water, telecommunications), reaching 100% of the volume.
Phu Tho province has handed over the site for 28.6/28.93 km, reaching 99%; construction completed 24/24 of the resettlement area; relocation of technical infrastructure (electricity lines, telecommunications…) reaching 90% of the volume; strive to complete all site clearance in February 2023.
The construction and installation bidding packages have been implemented since the beginning of August 2021 in the direction of both construction and ground clearance. The volume of construction and installation so far has reached 1,070/1,829.57 billion VND, reaching 58.48% of the contract value.
