The “Star Academy” offers the services of Robbie Williams for the big return of the show on TF1.
TELEVISION – Some traditions are not lost. While no name had been slipped since the announcement of the return of the historic telecrochet of TF1the Star Academy formalized this Wednesday, October 12 the arrival of Robbie Williams as the show’s new sponsor.
Back on air October 15the Star Academy thus offers himself a prestigious sponsor, since the 49-year-old British singer has never participated in telecrochet since its creation in 2001. “For the first time in the history of the show, he will be present on set during a bonus event to support the students”indicates TF1 on Twitter.

Before the performerAngels, prestigious names in music had tried their hand at this role during previous seasons, broadcast on TF1 from 2001 to 2008, then on NRJ 12 in 2012. Among them, we count in particular RihannaElton John, Celine DionMatt Pokora ou encore Mariah Carey.
The presence of Robbie Williams, on the other hand, is not due to chance, as underlined The Parisian. The artist has just published a new album with Sony Music, the same publisher as that of the future winner of this 12th season of the Star Ac’.
Robbie Williams gets desired
If we know that the pop star will be present on set “during a prime”, TF1 does not say if it will be this Saturday, October 15. “If he cannot come physically, he will leave a message for the students” reassures a member of the production with the Parisian. On the other hand, there is no doubt as to his presence for the final of the show, already fixed for November 26, where he will personally present the trophy to the winner.
In the meantime, many stars are already planned to come and sing with the students or perform their own hits, such as Juliette Armanet, Amir, Michel Polnareff, Véronique Sanson, Dadju, Soprano or Gims.
