Al-Marsad newspaper: The traveler and camel owner Rasha Al-Qurashi revealed the start of her journey from Al-Sayad to Jeddah on the back of her camel.
She said: “The idea started when I participated in the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, in its sixth edition, where I made a promise to myself that if I did not win the festival, I would return from Najd to the Hijaz on the back of my camel.
And she continued, the idea developed for me to be the first Saudi woman to go from Riyadh to the Hijaz in a camel, pointing out that she seeks to spread heritage and enter the Guinness Book of Records.
