their bank accounts were suddenly closed, the victims fear they have lost everything!

Hundreds of Belgians fear the worst. Since April 14, their online bank accounts with the German neo-bank N26 have been closed. The victims believe the company got away with their money ahead of an impending bankruptcy.

Kevin, from Hasselt, complains about the situation with HLN. “25,000 euros are in my account. Some people can no longer even pay their rent…”, he explains. A 2,000-member Facebook group has been created by affected customers. Among them French, Dutch and hundreds of Belgians.

Kevin explains: “We received an email informing us that they were investigating our account. At first I thought it was phishing. I didn’t pay much attention to it, but the following days I didn’t notice any improvement. Disbelief turned to nervousness. After some research, it turned out that other people had experienced the same thing. Nobody got their money”.

Victims wonder: where did their money go? They remain, at the time of writing these few lines, without an answer…
