After Cosquín Rock 2024 confirmed its entire lineup at the end of November, the most important music megafestival in the interior of the country began its 24th edition this Saturday with good weather, despite the forecast.

How Pocket Cash works, Cosquín Rock’s virtual wallet for eating and drinking
One of the new features implemented this year will be the Pocket Cash virtual wallet system. This system facilitates purchases in bars, bars, Mercado Pop and CR Merch, using a bracelet equipped with RFID technology (object identification system that uses radio frequency).
With Pocket cash, attendees have the flexibility to load the amount of money they plan to use before the start of the festival, either from the official site on www.cosquinrock.net or even within the property, in the specific places arranged for this purpose.
The operation is like this: the user enters www.cosquinrock.net and in the Pocket cash tab the bracelet is loaded with the desired amount. During the festival, with a simple movement of the wrist (and with the money available there) all payments can be made within the premises.
As detailed on the official Cosquín Rock website, this system not only guarantees security in transactions, but also saves time and eliminates annoying lines.
“By completely digitizing the transaction, there will be no need to withdraw money, pay and wait for change, reducing the process to quickly reading the bracelet; In addition, the system allows that, in the event of theft or loss, the balance remains safe and can only be used by the owner,” the page states.
And adds a timely clarification. “In case of any unforeseen event, the user must go to the customer service points and carry out the corresponding procedure as soon as the event occurs.”
To activate Pocket cash and register the bracelet to the user’s name, access www.cosquinrock.net/billetera and there will be detailed instructions there. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code on the bracelet and follow the indicated steps.
The bracelet charging operation may also be carried out within the premises, at the different charging points enabled for this purpose.
It is advisable to load the bracelet with enough money, as this will save time and avoid lines. Charging can be done through www.cosquinrock.net/billetera up to 36 hours before the festival. In the case of loading at stations within the property, it is advisable to keep the loading receipts.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO EAT AT COSQUÍN ROCK 2024?
The gastronomic offer of Cosquín Rock continues to expand its menu through the modality of different food trucks along with the classic buffet of the festival.
With the Pocket Cash modality as a novelty (mentioned above), prices accompanied the inflationary escalation of recent months.
In the official festival canteen the prices are as follows: hamburgers and choripanes from 5,300 pesos, hot dogs and fries at 3,900, lomitos and Milanese sandwiches from 7,500, the main options. For vegetarians: pizza at 6,000 and hamburgers and chicken and mozzarella-like batters at 5,800. Ice cream and alfajores at 1,000 pesos.
In the food truck area of different bars and restaurants, prices vary slightly and there are loins from 9,000 pesos, hamburgers from 8,000 pesos, six empanadas for 8,000 pesos, choripán with potatoes from 8,000 pesos. For vegetarians: wraps from 8,000 pesos and nachos from 5,500. Salads cost 8,000 pesos.
