This is what the CIES Football Observatory (International Center for Sports Studies, located in Switzerland and created in 1995 as a FIFA joint venture with the University of Nosatel) reports in its relevant analysis today (20/3), which presents the ten players with the highest estimated transfer values in 66 leagues worldwide (excluding Europe’s big-5), based on a statistical model that favors ownership over loan, as well as remaining contract years.
Apart from two places on the podium, PAOK has a total of four players in the ten, where only three Greeks find a place, with Fotis Ioannidis being the third after the two players of the Thessaloniki club.
