The owner of a dealership, 47 years old, and his son of 28 futhey were arrested in a mega operation carried out in the last hours in the city of Córdoba.
Deputy Commissioner Juan Bevilacqua, of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations, reported that 16 trucks were seized in different raids carried out in neighborhoods of the capital of Cordoba.

Bevilacqua specified that “some presented requests for seizure from the Province of Buenos Aires and others are found to be adulterated regarding the engine, chassis and glass engraving in relation to the regulations of the National Directorate of Automotive Property Registry”.

“Under strict directives from the Prosecutor’s Office of District III Shift 4, led by Dr. (Claudia) Palacios An adult woman and her son, owners of said concessionaire, were arrested and transferred to Bouwer prison.”Bevilacqua added.

Investigation
The raids were carried out after an arduous investigation by the Córdoba Police, which had the collaboration of police forces from other provinces.
“It is presumed that it would be an organization dedicated to the marketing of large vehicles, valued at a large sum of money, resulting in accused families related to the smuggling industry of such vehicles.”indicates an official report.
