The body of a 24-year-old man was found with signs of violence in the early hours of last Saturday, September 17, in the Zona Colonial from Santo Domingo.
The victim was identified as Wadimil Melo Díaz, who lived in said tourist sectormore was from the community of Las Salinas de Bani, Peravia province.
As reported by the Dominican GLBT Volunteer, the forensic diagnosis indicates that Melo Díaz died due to mechanical asphyxiation due to hanging at the hands of a second personso they hope that the fact will be investigated “with the responsibility that this case deserves.”
