This is Ada Bíró, the new artificial intelligence host of public television

“Everything you see and hear was put together by a computer, with minimal human help,” was the first coherent sentence of Ada Bíró, M1’s new artificial intelligence (AI) newsreader, in front of the public, of course after greeting the viewers. Ada was created using several language and video models together, but its exact operation is a trade secret.

Ada and its technological background is still in its infancy, its appearance and operation will evolve from broadcast to broadcast. According to the MI host, the most modern language and video model was used in order to speak Hungarian as accurately as possible and to look as lifelike as possible, to be able to imitate natural human movements and facial expressions.

Judge Ada will host the scientific program Delta on the Duna TV channel.

According to presenter Ádám Fejős, the technology is unique, and you don’t see a similar solution in many places, especially not in the world of news.

Soon, Hungarian businesses will also get their own artificial intelligence. The Think AI team, which consists of domestic developers, AI experts and advertising agency specialists, examines company processes, identifies time-consuming activities, and then proposes how these could be partially or completely automated with the help of artificial intelligence.
