This is the case of Toby, a beautiful red-haired cat who was abandoned by a family and in the United States. They handed him over to another family, but Toby missed his home and ran away.
As reported by the Mirror, the cat walked 20 kilometers to return to what was his home. But the feeling of love for that family was not reciprocated and they rejected it again.
This time, they took the cat “Toby” to a shelter and the owners asked their managers to put the animal down. Fortunately, the shelter ignored the request.
Those responsible for it contacted an animal protection society in North Carolina, the SPCA, which welcomed him and shared his story on social networks, going viral.
“The shelter called us at the SPCA to ask if we could take him in and help him find a new family. Of course we said yes!” They explained from the protector.
