The General Meteorological Authority warned of several phenomena tomorrow, Sunday.
The authority said in a post on the social networking site “Facebook”: “We are still experiencing wind activity that stirs up sand and dust over Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the canal cities, the Gulf of Suez, northern and central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt, with which the level of horizontal visibility decreases at intermittent intervals.”
Light to moderate rain also falls on areas of the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt at intermittent intervals.
It is expected that there will be turbulence in maritime traffic in the Mediterranean Sea, with wave heights reaching 3-5 metres.
Temperatures also drop by (2-3) degrees compared to today in most parts, and the weather remains cold at night and in the early hours of the morning.
It is also expected that the high above Cairo will reach 25 degrees Celsius.
