Top-Five of the richest Arab families in 2022

The Sawiris, the most powerful family in the Arab region with a combined net worth of $11.2 billion, saw their wealth decline by $800 million between March 11 and December 29, 2022.

Similarly, Lebanon’s Mikati family, the region’s second-richest family with a combined fortune of $5.6 billion, saw their wealth shrink by $800 million in regarding nine months.

The Mansour family from Egypt ranks third following maintaining their wealth at $5.1 billion, while Issad Rebrab and his family from Algeria achieved the same ranking as Mansour with an identical net worth.

Lebanon’s Hariri family is the fifth-richest family with a combined fortune of $4.7 billion, while Forbes magazine has stopped tracking Saudi billionaires since 2018.
