The first of three Daddy Yankee farewell shows at the National Stadium was dangerous chaos. So much so that the governor of the Metropolitan Region, Claudio Orrego, put the two remaining dates of “La Última Vuelta World Tour” on hold. “What happened today is unacceptable and cannot be repeated,” he said. According to Bizarro Live Entertainment, producer in charge of the show, it was carried out “under a strict security and logistics protocol.”
A complete disaster. The first farewell concert Daddy Yankee in Chile was marked by organizational chaos from start to finish, which put tens of thousands of spectators at risk on Tuesday night at the National Stadium. The problems began around 6:00 p.m., when the access to Grecia Avenue was intermittently closed after assaults on security and production workers. Indeed, hundreds violated the site, as evidenced in various videos that went viral on social networks.

Inside the building the uncertainty was not little: the sectors of General Court and VIP Court they were on the verge of collapse, while others took advantage of the chaos of the entrances to, within the same stadium, go from the galleries to the esplanade.
That was the scenario when at 7:55 p.m. the acclaimed opening show for Polimá Westcoastwho in his speeches completely missed the juncture. “My blood”, “Sextime” and of course the international hit “Ultra Solo”were the winning cards of the Chilean-Haitian who said goodbye among praise.
It was there when the most privileged attendees of the night (who noticed the prevailing disorder from their seats) spontaneously began an irreproducible chorus of reparation against the production company Bizarro, which included rage, irony and genital allusions.
The intervention of the Police partially appeased the avalanches in the National Stadium, at the same time that on television the Undersecretary for Crime Prevention, Eduardo Vergaraquestioned the realization of the remaining two dates of “La Última Vuelta World Tour”, agreed for this Wednesday and Thursday in the same building.
“We have to evaluate if whoever organized the event fulfilled what they had to fulfill.but clearly the images that we have seen in these minutes speak of the inability of whoever is organizing this event to guarantee that people can attend in peace and tranquility,” he said on Channel 13.
“The priority in a massive event is the safety of the person. In addition, we are talking about an event that is paid for, where there is a person in charge, who is the organizer of the event, who has to comply with basic security standards. That means ensuring that people attending these events have peace of mind,” he added.
Through social networks, the governor of the Metropolitan Region, Claudio OrregoWas beyond: “If tomorrow there is no serious security plan for the 2nd recital of #DaddyYankee, led by the government with Carabineros and the production company, or it should be suspended due to lack of guarantees for the public (sic). What happened today is unacceptable and cannot be repeated,” she wrote on Twitter.
Bizarro’s response was as harsh as the authorities’ summons: “Bizarro Live Entertainment declares that it complied with everything and in greater quantity than that required by the authorityfor this reason, the presidential delegation supervised and approved the event through the conformity issued under circular 28 that regulates massive events, there being no inability of the person who is organizing it, but rather of those who are responsible for what happens to the events. crimes in the streets and surroundings of the premises where they take place”.
The show Daddy Yankee’s farewell party, which was left absolutely in the background after the excesses at the Nacional, began around 9:15 p.m. (15 minutes earlier than agreed) and lasted for two hours and more than 30 songs. A stream of hits that the public (at least 70,000, including avalanches) chanted without pause and despite unnecessary doses of uncertainty, insecurity and bewilderment.

As if that were not enough, leaving the stadium was another headache for hundreds of attendees, who took hours to return home. There were also robberies and damage to private cars near the compound.
