The General Directorate of Giza Traffic made traffic diversions for the movement of cars due to the construction of the new 26th of July Corridor in 45-day work, amid the presence of traffic services to follow the movement of cars.
The General Directorate of Giza Traffic is assigning the necessary traffic services to meet any expected traffic densities and manage the traffic, in conjunction with the implementation of the construction works of the new 26th of July Corridor (the bridge intersection of the 26th of July Corridor all the way to Ahmed Orabi Street passing through the top of the Barajil area), which requires Total closure on Street No. 2 circle, starting from its intersection with the street behind Safari Park until Airport Street only, for a period of 45 days, starting from 1 am on Friday, corresponding to 7/22/2022 until Sunday, corresponding to 4/9/2022, to implement construction works for Al-Kubra Referred to.
Some traffic diversions will be made as follows:
– Coming from Ezbet El Matar areas and wishing to walk in the direction of Ahmed Orabi Bridge and Ahmed Orabi Street, turn left on the street behind Safari Park, then enter right in the direction of Ahmed Orabi Bridge, all the way to Ahmed Orabi Street.
– Coming from Ezbet Al Matar areas and wishing to walk towards Al Barajeel areas, turn left on a street behind Safari Park, then enter right towards Ahmed Orabi Bridge, then continue walking on Ahmed Orabi Street until the first roundabout, then turn and return again on Ahmed Orabi Street and go up the Ahmed Orabi Bridge again The direction of the house leading to Airport Street, towards the Barajeel area.
– Coming from Ahmed Orabi Street and wishing to walk in the direction of Ezbet El Matar areas, go up the top of Ahmed Orabi Bridge and continue walking on Orabi axis until Safari Park Square, then turn around and return again, then enter a right on a street behind Safari Park to reach the areas of Ezbet El Matar.
– Coming from Al-Barajeel areas and wishing to walk in the direction of Ezbet Al-Matar areas, go up at the top of Ahmed Orabi Bridge, then continue walking on Ahmed Orabi Street until the first roundabout, then turn around and return again on Ahmed Orabi Street and go up again at the top of Ahmed Orabi Bridge and continue walking on the Orabi axis towards Safari Park Square Then turn around and return again, then enter the right on a street behind the Safari Park, all the way to the areas of Izbat Al Matar.
For its part, the General Directorate of Giza Traffic will designate the necessary traffic services and coordinate with the executing companies to put in place technical assistance and all equipment indicating the existence of works in the area to ensure the security and safety of citizens.
