A dead motorcyclist and the grill worker seriously injured was the result of an unfortunate accident this Wednesday morning near Los Aviadores Avenue, in which the driver of a gondola ran over them after allegedly being unable to maneuver the heavy vehicle.
Through sources from the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) in charge of Land Traffic, it was learned that the accident involving a collision occurred in the direction of Palo Negro – San Jacinto roundhouse, near the 18 de Mayo neighborhood of the Francisco Linares Alcántara municipality. just 200 meters from the Paraparal walkway, when the ladies were traveling on a red Empire brand motorcycle driven by Lauris Vanessa González, 38 years old, and Natalia Francho Reyes, (28), was traveling as a griller.
A version of the events narrated to the PNB officers indicated that the accident allegedly occurred when Lauris González wanted to “save the road” and crossed the dangerous road through a small space where the public lighting poles are installed. The driver of the heavy vehicle, whose identity is unknown, could not stop in time and ended up running over the women, hitting the motorcycle from the front and passing the wheels over both ladies. The driver died instantly, while Natalia Franco is seriously injured in the La Ovallera Social Security, Libertador municipality.
