Travis Kelce has finally broken his silence on his rumored romance with Taylor Swift, revealing that he has invited the pop superstar to watch him play a game for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Kelce’s apparent fling with Swift has been the talk of the internet for the past week, but until now the Chiefs star was yet to comment – with most of the information coming from his brother Jason.
‘It’s hilarious how much traction this has actually got,’ he revealed live on the Pat McAfee Show. ‘I think right now it’s like that old game at school, “Telephones”, where everyone is just whispering in each other’s ears and hearing some random stuff… no-one actually knows what’s going on.
‘Especially when you’ve got Jason Kelce going on national television and telling both sides… he doesn’t know, it’s true, it’s this and that. He goes on Thursday Night Football and the first thing he brings up is “Catching Kelce”, and then not even a week later he’s telling everyone it’s 100 percent true.
‘The guy is ridiculous, he can’t stay out of the fricking headlines. He was on the show yesterday saying everyone thinks he’s the Ian Rapoport of my dating relationships… everyone, please stop asking my brother about my love life.’

It was then Kelce’s turn to reveal the news from the horse’s mouth, as he revealed he has been speaking to the popstar – and has given her a very tempting invite.
‘It’s life, baby,’ he continued. ‘I threw it out there, I threw the ball in her court. I said, “I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead, you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead, and see which one’s a little more lit.”
‘We’ll see what happens in the near future. Alright, nowwwww.’
The news was met with raucous cheers from the panel on McAfee’s show, as the team wished him luck with his pursuit of music’s most famous face.
Until Thursday afternoon, all of the news regarding the potential romance between two-time Super Bowl winner Kelce, 33, and pop sensation Swift, also 33, was either rumors spread in the media or by his brother Jason.
It was reported earlier this month that they had been ‘quietly hanging out,’ and then Eagles center Jason admitted on the WIP Morning Show that he believed the news to be ‘100 percent true.’
‘I think things are going great and I think it’s 100 percent true,’ the 35-year-old said.

‘I don’t really know a lot about what’s happening in Travis’s love life. You know, his business is his business and I try to stay out of that world,’ he added.
Travis, who previously dated influencer and broadcaster Kayla Nicole, was first linked to Swift earlier this month.
They were reported to have been hanging out when the Midnights hit-maker visited New York a few weeks ago, the Messenger reported last week.
Kelce, who made his season debut Sunday, scoring a touchdown in the Chiefs’ 17-9 win over the Jaguars, first tried to link up with Swift when her Eras tour came to Kansas City in the summer.
He revealed on his New Heights podcast with Jason that he attempted to give the songstress a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it.
Travis conducted an on-off relationship with influencer Kayla Nicole for five years, until 2022
‘So, I was a little butthurt that I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,’ Travis said.
‘She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me. So, I took it personal.’
Jason jokingly guessed that Swift, who hails from Pennsylvania, refused to meet with Travis because of her known fondness for the Eagles.
She even references her ‘Eagles t-shirt hanging from the door,’ in her song Gold Rush from Evermore, her ninth studio album.
