Tyler opened up about his strange addiction through a television show. According to a New York Post report, he also drinks tuna as juice.
‘Any day, any time, any night, I like to smell tuna,’ said the young man.

‘He always likes fish. In childhood, children usually want chocolates and other gifts, but he didn’t like chocolates. So we used to give him cans of tuna and sardines as gifts,’ said mother Ursula. But she said she never thought it would turn out like this.
In a video from the TV show shared on YouTube, Tyler can be seen sitting in a coffee shop. The video then shows him taking a small can of tuna and its opener from his pocket, opening it and enjoying the smell.
‘People call me the Tuna Tyler and I’m addicted to the smell of tuna. It may sound strange to others, but for me it is very good,’ he said.
A few months ago, a 21-member group of fishermen caught a 306 kg tuna off the coast of Texas. The crew was captained by Tim Ostreich. A total of 56 hours were spent on the mission.
