Two Requirements for Registering E-stores on “Business Platform” Disclosed by Ministry of Commerce Spokesperson in Video

According to Abdul Rahman Al-Hussein, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce, the “Business Platform” is now the only approved platform for authenticating electronic stores in the Kingdom, replacing the “Maarouf” platform. In order to document a store on the business platform, a commercial registry or valid freelance document and a linked bank account is required. The ministry is calling for electronic stores to document their stores on the business platform.

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The official spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce, Abdul Rahman Al-Hussein, explained that the “Business Platform” is the only platform approved to authenticate electronic stores in the Kingdom, instead of the “Maarouf” platform.

He pointed out that documenting the store on the business platform requires the presence of a commercial registry or a valid freelance document, and the existence of a bank account linked to the product.
