This game, which took place in a French village, was a huge success on June 6th. The winning square was worth 500 euros.
It took 1h50 before the cow in charge of “playing” decided to kick the bucket.

It was in Blangy-le-Château that the first… loto-dung took place. On June 6, the entire French village got in tune with the event organized by the “Blangy-En-Vie” association.
Specifically, a grid of 1,600 squares was built on the grounds of the village hall. “We let go of the cow in three draws. Every time she puts down her dung, it’s won!”, Explains one of the organizers to our colleagues from the “Pays d’Auge”.
A Norman cow, nicknamed “La Castelblangeoise”, was lent by a local farmer. It was she who was in charge of kicking the ass. What she did after 1h50 of play. It took patience for the committed players who had bet some 1300 squares.
And if the friendly bovid hadn’t defecated, what would have happened? The organizers had thought of everything: a lining was ready to take over. “We took two cows. If after two hours, the first had not filed for bankruptcy, we took the second”, specify the organizers.
Note that the game was worth the candle since the winning square brought in €500 and €50 for the eight surrounding squares.
