Al-Marsad newspaper – SPA: The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco received from the Moroccan competent authorities news that a Saudi citizen was attacked by a group of people that led to his death, following a fight between them, while the Saudi citizen was in the Moroccan city of Casablanca.
In the interest of the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for citizens abroad, the embassy would like to clarify that it has followed up the details of the tragic accident since it occurred with the competent Moroccan authorities, and accordingly it was found that the deceased was killed by a group of security guards working in the hotel where the Saudi citizen resides in the city of Casablanca.
The embassy confirmed that the case is still under investigation by the Moroccan Public Prosecution, following the arrest of the aggressors to complete the investigation, stressing that it is following up with great interest with the competent authorities in Morocco the course of the case, and that it is fully confident in Moroccan justice.
The embassy indicated that it is currently coordinating with the competent Moroccan authorities to transfer the body of the deceased – may God have mercy on him – to the Kingdom following completing the necessary procedures. .
