Al-Marsad newspaper: The Director of the National Cancer Center at the Saudi Health Council, Dr. Mushabab Al-Asiri, explained that processed meat is a major and definite cause of cancer.
He said, during an interview with “Rotana Khaleejia” channel, that scientists concluded in 2015, that red meat is a possible cause of cancer.
He continued, while studies were concluded that processed meat is a major and definite cause of cancer.
He pointed out that the relationship between food and cancer is a thorny issue, because food starts with seeds, then soil, pesticides, as well as the type and age of the animal, and what drugs, hormones, or formulations that change the chemicals in meat, and then manufacturing.
