With regard to the dams-reservoirs, the situation is normal, despite very low inflows given the absence of precipitation, notes the cell.
The decrease in flows in navigable waterways, caused by the lack of precipitation since May 15, continues, adds the Walloon cell. A similar trend is observed for most non-navigable watercourses. Certain sections, including part of the Ourthe downstream of Nisramont and a section of the Semois, are therefore closed to navigation for kayaks, the cell further notes. Water production and distribution are carried out normally, but a significant and widespread increase in consumption has been observed over the past seven days, which requires special attention from distributors.
