The governor of Córdoba, Martín Llaryora, considered that next Tuesday the Chamber of Deputies must approve the “omnibus law” and also assured that among the “dialogue” governors there is a will to revive a part of the fiscal package that Minister Luis Caputo on Friday decided to exclude from the project to accelerate treatment and preserve the chapters on delegation of powers, privatizations and deregulation of economic activity.

“We consider that the increase in any export duties, or Profits, or pension reforms should not be approved. But there is a part of the fiscal package that can be approved because we all understand that balance must be sought and that the Government must have the tools to meet the goals it set,” Llaryora indicated in dialogue with The voice.

He insisted that Córdoba’s position was always in support of governability and that the political will of the people of Córdoba is in support of the measures that the Nation is proposing, as long as production or provincial interests are not harmed. He considered that the delegation of legislative powers to the Executive should remain as it is in the majority opinion and ratified that the deputies of Córdoba Peronism will vote in dissent in several articles.

The governor participated in a virtual meeting with governors of Together for Change and legislative representatives of the “dialogue” sectors and pointed out that, among other points, there is a willingness to support fiscal measures such as money laundering, modifications in Personal Assets, continuity and increase in the Pais tax – which is expired – and the maintenance of the educational fund. There is also support for chapters linked to investment promotion.

Llaryora also demanded that the national government lower the level of belligerence with the provinces. “When they say that they are going to get money from the governors, they are saying that they are going to get money from the Argentines. They must rebuild the dialogue and stop threatening,” Llaryora stressed. He was also critical of the level of incompetence prevailing during the discussion and of actions such as the changes in the opinion that had already been agreed upon and the outbursts attributed to President Javier Milei himself.

He also insisted that between Monday and Tuesday an agreement be revived for treatment in general that guarantees the approval of the law, and that contemplates that each block in particular can express itself. He ratified that the deputies of Cordoban Peronism – who make up the bloc of Hacemos Coalión Federal – will demand modifications in the opinion regarding biofuels and will not support the privatizations of Banco Nación, Fabricaciones Militares, Fadea or the Radio and Radio Services. UNC Television.

This block, made up of Carlos Gutiérrez, Natalia de la Sota, Ignacio García Aresca, Alejandra Torres and Juan Brugge, will also not endorse the modifications provided for by the “omnibus law” in environmental matters nor the changes that affect the financing of the institutes for the promotion of cultural activities. There is a sixth deputy from Córdoba who is part of this federal interblock, the head of PRO Córdoba, Oscar Agost Carreño.
