Weed with the beer? As Wlazny no, as Pogo yes

He is “fresh”, he brings “experience” beyond politics (as a doctor and rock musician) – and he is independent: That’s how Dominik Wlazny (aka Marco Pogo) argued in the ZiB 2 interview why he was against Alexander Van der Bellen in the presidential election.

In 2016 he chose Van der Bellen, Wlazny explained on request. What distinguishes him from this, however, he could hardly specify. He would have acted similarly in the Ibiza crisis, he admitted. What remained was Wlazny’s insistence on his independence – without being able to explain to what extent he was more independent than VdB; and he made it clear that he did not agree with everything at VdV – although he could not name any specific points here either.

Asked about the “aptitude test” he proposed for members of the government, Wlazny explained that he had e.g. For example, Interior Minister Karner was not sworn in – because of the Dollfuss Museum in the municipality of Texingtal, which Karner used to lead as mayor.

Moderator Armin Wolf also had an earlier post by Marco Pogo ready: “Grass with beer – treat yourself”? Would Wlazny post that again today – which means a call for illegal action? As artist Marco Pogo already, as presidential candidate Wlazny no, he avoided it. Then Wolf probed whether Wlazny had ever used illegal drugs. Which he initially denied, only to then explain that he had smoked a joint before. “So just once?” – “Maybe twice.”
