Al-Marsad newspaper: Social media activists circulated a video clip, showing one of the councils in Saudi Arabia, whose owner spent millions of riyals on preparing it, according to what he confirmed.
In the clip, a person appears, asking the owner of the council, about its cost, and whether he really spent 3 million riyals on it, to confirm the latter that the expenses exceeded this amount, approximately 4.5 million Saudi riyals.
During the section, the Majlis appeared with a large area, in addition to finishing the floors with marble, and making decorations for the ceiling along the Majlis, in addition to air conditioners along the wall, but the owner of the huge Majlis did not reveal its purpose.
The clip sparked widespread controversy among communication activists, who called for blessing, and others criticized the video, noting that it was a kind of hijack.
And one of the activists tweeted: His money was correct, but he could put the four million in something that would benefit him more, while another asserted: “Heyat and empty words, and the last thing is bad with eternity and years, no one comes.”
