The denial of the Far-Morocco Forum

The facts, according to the same source, began when these media used photos of An124 and Il76 transport planes that flew from airfields in eastern Morocco, and were exploited to mislead public opinion. , making believe that it is a question of transporting T72 tanks to Ukraine. In response to a supposed delivery of T-72s being renovated in Czechoslovakia, the Forum states that the Kingdom has received all of this type of tank that it ordered to strengthen its fleet.
The Forum adds that “the Kingdom is unable to sell its spare parts to anyone, because the maintenance, the upgrading of the T72B tanks is carried out in Morocco and not in the Czech Republic, and this, under an agreement sealed with the company “EXCALIBUR”.
The Kingdom, continues the same source, in its desire to develop its armored corps, had acquired Czech T72s on condition that the aforementioned company develops the T72M version before its transfer to Morocco. FAR Maroc cites dozens of copies acquired by the Moroccan military authorities from 2021 to 2022, knowing that the United Nations report on arms exchanges speaks of 14 tanks delivered.
As EXCALIBUR is under great pressure, it was decided, in consultation with the Moroccan authorities, to transfer the renovation technology to the Kingdom.
