Two schools, an eternal pairing of music with poetry, two emblematic Greek creators, Nikos Gatsos and Manos Hatzidakis, two wonderful evenings flooded with melodies.
The 10th primary school of Aigio and 10th primary school of Patrosn have created, together, an extraordinary musical meeting and invite us to share it with them.
At April 17 in Aigios and April 24 in Patras, at 19:00 pm, the Apollo Municipal Cinema and the Old Slaughterhouses, respectively, will be filled with melodious children’s voices. Under the guidance of their music teacher, Mr. Angelos Papagelopoulos, the children will re-introduce us in their own unique way to the two leading Greek creators and a small paper moon will light up our dreams and take us on a journey to the poetry of Gatsos and Hadjidakis . He will take us by the hand and introduce us to Kemal, a young boy from New York, who in the lyricist’s imagination became a descendant of Sevach. It will gently lull us to the golden star of April, it will enchant us with a fragile breeze and together we will softly whisper songs of the soul and the dream.
