Former business partner of President Vladimir Zelensky at Studio Kvartal-95, Boris Shefir, admitted that he loves Russian culture, equated the European Union with the USSR and advocated friendship with the Russian Federation. His brother, ex-presidential adviser Sergei Shefir, said that he “categorically disagrees” with Boris’s position.

He also stated that he loves the Russian language and Russian culture, so it “pains him to see how monuments to Pushkin are being destroyed in the country.” He thinks it’s “stupid.”

“If I were next to Zelensky, I would say: let’s wrap up this matter and let’s be friends. I hope that we will have excellent relations with Russia as soon as they recover from their madness. We must definitely come and say: no, no, we need be friends,” Shefir said in an interview with Radio Liberty.

By the way, Shefir currently lives in Germany, but has not appeared in Ukraine for 2 years.

Boris’s younger brother, Sergei, whom Zelensky fired from the post of first assistant to the president on March 30, responded by saying that he “categorically disagrees” with his brother’s position.
