On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Yukiwo, Jashin-chan Dropkick (Dropkick On My Devil!), the preview frames of the second episode of the third season of the project, which will be broadcast on July 12 in Japan, were shared. The trailer features a character who, according to fans, is too reminiscent of Mami Nanami of Kanojo, Okarishimasu (Rent A Girlfriend).
However, the synopsis writes: “Pino is now persecuted from the skies, and she is increasingly afraid that she will soon be exterminated. Meanwhile, Pino goes out to the park and hears Yurine’s angry voice. When a startled Pino looked back at her, she saw Yurine’s fist, aimed at Jashin-chan, hit her. Yurine then turns to a small girl, who keeps an unchanging expression on her face. This little girl is Lierre-sama, one of the administrators from Heaven, who has come to Earth…»
That’s right, it’s not about Mami-chanbut of ivy-samaa character who had, in fact, already appeared in a special (i.e. non-canonical) episode titled “Chapter Chitose” and released on April 30, 2020 in Japan. This third season is produced with the money raised through a fundraising campaign carried out in September 2020, and which met its goal in just 33 hours from its opening, formally announcing the production of this third season. For his part, Yukiwo publishes the manga through the service Comic Meteor from the publisher Flex Comix since April 2012.

Sinopsis de Jashin-chan Dropkick
The demon Jashin-chan has been summoned to Earth by Yurine Hanazono, a girl with a gift for the occult. Unfortunately, Yurine doesn’t really know how to send Jashin-chan back to hell. Now stuck on Earth, she must live in Yurine’s apartment as her familiar. The only way for Jashin-chan to return would be to kill her summoner, but that’s easier said than done for the incompetent demoness. Since Jashin-chan is immortal and can regenerate her body, Yurine doesn’t hold back from attacking her with a variety of weapons, punishing her in horrible ways for her evil plans. Jashin-chan is also often visited by her demon friends: the good-natured Gorgon Medusa and the energetic minotaur Minosu, who seem much more polite in contrast, and disapprove of her plans to kill Yurine.
