XXXII Feria de Productos de León showcases agrofood sector at Palacio

The XXXII Feria de los Productos de León transforms the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones into a bustling marketplace for the province’s rich agrofood sector, featuring 108 participating exhibitors. Returning to its traditional dates around the festivity of the Pilar rather than December, the four-day event runs from October 9 through October 12, 2026, showcasing everything from artisan cheeses and cured meats to artisanal chocolates, wines, and craft beers.

A Gathering of Provincial Producers

Opening its doors at 11:00 hours each morning, the fair serves as a vital commercial showcase for local producers. Provincial representatives emphasized how crucial these agrofood producers are for the survival of the rural economy, championing the message that León boasts a vast array of emblematic goods rather than just a single signature item like cecina.

Exhibitor stalls feature an extensive catalog of regional staples. The exposition hall includes meats, sausages, honey, cheese, liqueurs, wines, beers, legumes, fruits, fifth-range convenience foods, sweets, and chocolates. Visitors exploring the venue find everything from fresh dairy to specialty baked goods.

Intense Daily Programming and Live Culinary Demonstrations

The schedule blends institutional events with hands-on workshops, cooking demonstrations, and family-friendly entertainment.

As the weekend progresses, the exhibition hall maintains a packed agenda of live cooking and educational workshops. Sunday’s schedule begins with a children’s bee and honey workshop organized by Miel Los Izanes at 11:15 hours, followed by children’s cheese-making sessions hosted by Vallelongo. Concurrently, adult visitors can explore presentations from Mantequilla La Popular and pairings featuring Sequillos el Puente with Licores José Díez.

Midday sessions turn toward savory gastronomy, featuring chocolate decoration masterclasses by Chocolates Fábula and a live preparation of IGP Tierra de Campos lentils cooked with León chorizo. Sidras Carral rounds out the morning schedule with product presentations and tastings before the midday intermission at 14:30 hours.

Afternoon Contests and the Grand Closing Festivities

The fair resumes at 17:00 hours with workshops dedicated to crafting Christmas recipes using regional ingredients, accompanied by product showcases from Rey Melicola. The afternoon’s anchor event arrives at 18:00 hours with the IX Concurso Nacional de Cortadores de Jamón de León “Agustín Risueño”, an event sponsored by Caja Rural. Top specialists compete before the public enjoys a massive public tasting of León ham starting at 19:30 hours.
